Way back in the mid-twentieth Century (1946), Soichiro Honda established a namesake research institute in Japan for the purpose of developing and cranking out little, 2-stroke motorbike engines. Only two years later, the Honda Motor Company, was established.
Fast forward to 1959 to when Honda opened a sales shop in Los Angeles and within several years, they changed the history of motorcycling. They made ‘em better, faster and less expensive than anything else on two wheels.
