A LITTLE ALPINESTARS HISTORY

The company was founded in 1963 by Sante Mazzarolo in Asolo, Italy. And in case you were wondering how they came up with such a name for motorcycle gear, well, the company didn’t start out catering to us. They established their place in the commercial world by manufacturing hiking and ski boots and quickly saw their future in motorcycle boots. (“Alpine” means “high mountains.”)

By the time the 1990s rolled around, Alpinestars added gloves, jackets, full leather suits and other goodies.
