SEXY, COOL: BLACK LEATHER….

If you are a biker you probably have more than one.

If you are not a biker, you probably have at least one.

And if YOU don’t own one, you certainly know others that do.

Leather biker vests.

Yep. They are popular. Yep, they are good looking. And on certain gals, they can be downright sexy.

In fact, could you envision a motorcycle world without leather vests? Not I.

DON’T FORGET THE OTHER BORING, “PRACTICAL” VESTS

Just bear in mind that if we consider the ultimate purpose of motorcycle gear is to protect the rider, or offer some other safety benefit, leather vests don’t to that.

Now, you “can” get more utilitarian vests. For example:

♦ Heated vests for cool weather riding (that go under a motorcycle jacket)

♦ Safety vests that are reflective and/or are a bright color (and are worn over a motorcycle jacket) that make the rider more visible in traffic

But to state the obvious, those practical vests sure are no substitute for the look of black leather biker vests.
