Motorcycle Fork Springs
MOTORCYCLE FORK SPRINGS WOULD BE A VERY WEIRD GIFT
Let’s get real. WHO would get someone motorbike fork springs as a gift? It’s a preposterous notion!
♦ What could be more unexciting than the springs inside your motorcycle forks?
♦ Waiting for snow to go away so you can ride again?
How about brushing up on “The History and Evolution of Motorcycle Suspension Components”? (On the other hand, if you DO find that to a fascinating subject, you may have a future as a custom motorcycle builder).
Although they would be a weird gift, at least knowing a tiny bit about them wouldn’t be that bad an idea.
MOTORBIKE TELESCOPIC FORKS
Most motorcycles use telescopic forks for their front suspension.
In the event that you haven’t paid much mind to those shiny tubes attaching your wheel to your motorbike, realize, they do most of the work of reacting to bumps and holes in your path while you are riding around the world (or to your favorite cafe), so that you don’t have to. (Think of operating a jackhammer to get an idea of riding without a front suspension).
The springs inside those fork tubes can wear out. Or, if you are a bit persnickety about the performance of your front-end suspension, you may be one of the many who discard their stock fork spring and upgrade the springs to a better set of MOTORCYCLE FORK SPRINGS BEFORE they even ride their brand-new bike!
The result of a restored, or upgraded front-end motorcycle suspension is not only a more comfortable riding experience, but also, better control for the rider, particularly for higher-performance shenanigans.
Fortunately, that’s NOT something YOU would engage in….
